Aschak, poet and artist, was born in Trinidad but has long been a Philadelphia resident. Besides writing and performing his poetry, he has organized readings and brought poetry to the schools. His paintings can be seen on Astral Wilderness.

Shulamith Caine is the author of Love Fugue. A lecturer at Drexel University and a participant in the Poetry in the Schools Program, she has also lectured in India, Bangladesh, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Germany under the auspices of the United States Information Agency. She is a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts fellow, and winner of the 1995 Gerald Cable Book Award.

Kenneth Pobo's book of poems called Introductions will appear soon from Pearl's Book'Em Publisher. Ordering: A Season in My Garden, Higganum Hills Books, came out in 2001. He loves to garden, listen to 60’s obscurities, and learn from his cats.

Molly Russakoff has been active in the Philadelphia poetry community since 1979.  She won a Pew Fellowship in 1993.  She currently owns and operates Molly's Cafe & Bookstore, in the heart of the Italian Market.  The store supports the literary and arts community in many ways, such as hosting a weekly reading series, selling small press and local books and publishing a literay journal, Joss Magazine, which she edits with Ish Klein and Dan Labeau.  Her work has been published in various venues, including The Paris Review and Amperican Poetry Review.
