Brett Axel


Brett Axel is a Unitarian Universalist, a social and political activist, a three time Woodstock National Slam Team member, and a two time Woodstock Grand Slam Champion.   His books include First on the Fire (A Gathering of the Tribes) Will Work For Peace (Zeropanik Press) and Disaster Relief (Minimal Press). Brett lives in Utica, New York.  His home town is New Hope Pennsilvania. He read at Robin's bookstore before he signed his first book deal. Brett Axel's poetry has appeared in over 40 publications since 1974 including recent appearances in Montserrat Review, Heaven Bone, Longshot, Temple, and the Princeton Arts Review.

Articles have been written about Brett in over 25 newspapers and magazines including recently in USA Today, The Richmond Daily Press, and The Times Herald Record.

Brett Axel has appeared on radio in New York City, Omaha NE, Seattle WA, London, Bristol, and Sheffield UK.

Dominique Donnarumma


Dominique Donnarumma grew up in Middletown, NY, and found acceptance through the Orange County poetry scene. The union of music and poetry has always been her goal at any reading she attends. Dominique has featured at both Club Culture in Chester, NY, and Cafe Casa Java in Cornwall, NY. She currently lives in Philadelphia, where she is studying Opera at the University of the Arts.
